With this metamorphosis, Michaël Cailloux continues his work towards the subconscious, the dream and the passage from life into death. Metamorphosis as its own transformation. Death through desertion of oneself and resurgence to the self in another form. As usual in the artist’s work, the starting point is a hint to its references. Key to the Art Nouveau movement, the theme of metamorphosis here is the beginning of a more personal and dream-like exploration.

A true anthology, this scene was built with visuals conceived and selected by Michael Cailloux. Take a handful of his key elements, throw them in the air and let them scatter on satin silk. A cacophony of shape and color surrenders to an intricate elegance.
